I did a 2 day class to make the “easy” quilt. A crib size quilt for my oldest son. I needed to find some fabrics to go with the blue, orange and grey colour scheme of the room. My inspiration for everything for the room comes from the feature wall.
I gave a sneak peak to the top of my quilt in my last post. This was a very easy quilt to make. Basically my material was cut into strips and sewn together. Then cut again and sewn back together to produce all the little squares. The border was sewn around, put the quilt together and finished off with binding. I did a criss cross pattern across the whole quilt and I am very happy with how it turned out. It looks great in his room
Now I just have to find some different fabrics in the same colours and make another one for my baby
