So I finally finished my blocks for the latest round of the quilting bee and mailed them off. The person wanted a basket weave block and the conditions were that each person had a different colour scheme. Mine was blue. I thought I had a bunch of blues to choose from but when it came down to it most were more of a teal. So my 2 blocks are made with the same blues but I still think they turned out pretty good.
We are at the last round of the quilting bee which is my turn. I am still trying to decide on a block. I really like the garden fence block, the disappearing nine patch, building blocks. I have to hurry up and decide. Since I have no experience in making a quilt without all measurements being provided to me, my friend Jaclyn at Jaclynquilts.com is going to be helping me to determine what size blocks I need to make the quilt.
And just for fun, here is a sneak peak of a fun and easy quilt I am making for my son’s toddler bed. I will be finishing it up this week.

I can’t wait to see what you are planning for your blocks!
